Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
SWORE has been named one of the three finalists for the 2025 Eclipse Award honoring the year’s Champion Steeplechaser. A son of Broken Vow out of the Ghostzapper mare Cara Bella, SWORE was bred, foaled and raised at Stone Farm and races for the farm in partnership with Upland Flat Racing.
SWORE began his career on the flat and was switched to the jumps in 2025. He broke his maiden going 2 1/4 miles over fences at Colonial Downs, then came back next time out to win the prestigious Lonesome Glory H.-G1 in a thrilling finish. In his final start of the season, SWORE finished first again, winning the Aflac Supreme Hurdle S. at Pine Mountain – Callaway Garden nearly six lengths in front at the end of the 2 3/8-mile race. He has been ridden by Stephen Mulqueen and trained by Keri Brion in his last four 2025 starts.
The Eclipse Award winners will be announced January 22, 2025 and the ceremony will be held at the The Breakers in Palm Beach, FL.
