the land will take care of you.

Stone Farm raised Pizza Bianca made a powerful move deep in the stretch to win the $1 Million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf-G1 on the first day of the 2021 Breeders’ Cup at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club.
A homebred racing for farm client and chef Bobby Flay, Pizza Bianca was last in the field of 14 with a quarter mile to go. Ridden by Jose Ortiz, the 2-year-old daughter of Fastnet Rock slipped through a narrow opening along the inside and then posted a determined half-length win at the wire. The victory marked the first Breeders’ Cup win for highly regarded trainer Christophe Clement.
Flay had purchased the dam of Pizza Bianca, White Hot by Galileo, for approximately $2.1 million as a yearling in 2014 at a Tattersalls sale in England. Pizza Bianca is her first foal.
