Stone Farm bred, raised, and sold PLUM ALI remains undefeated thanks to a convincing win in Belmont’s Miss Grillo S.-G2 on Oct. 4. Sent off the even-money favorite, PLUM ALI put a head in front as the field moved into the the stretch in the 1 1/16-mile race on the turf. She shook free in final sixteenth and won by a comfortable 2 1/4 lengths, marking her second consecutive stakes win.
Trained by Christophe Clement, PLUM ALI broke her maiden in her debut at Saratoga going 1 1/16 miles on the turf. She then earned blacktype with a win in the Mint Juvenile Fillies S. at Kentucky Downs next out. Purchased by Cromwell Bloodstock from the Stone Farm Keeneland September yearling consignment in 2019, the juvenile daughter of First Samurai races for Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables, and Bethlehem Stables. Now a graded stakes winner, PLUM ALI has three wins from three starts for earnings of $413,500.
