Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
A full sister to 2015 Champion Juvenile Air Force Blue was foaled March 9 at Arthur B. Hancock III’s Stone Farm, in Paris, Kentucky. The filly is out of the stakes-placed Maria’s Mon mare Chatham and is by top sire War Front.
Air Force Blue, who also was foaled and raised at Stone Farm, won the G1 Phoenix S., the G1 Vincent O’Brien National S., and the G1 Dewhurst S. in consecutive starts. He was Europe’s unanimous Champion 2-Year-Old Male and was rated five pounds higher than any colt in his generation. With the exception of Frankel, AIR FORCE BLUE earned the highest Timeform rating given to a juvenile in nearly 20 years.
“This foal is a lovely filly,” said Stone Farm owner Arthur Hancock. “In fact, you couldn’t ask for a nicer foal.”
Hancock purchased the mare Chatham from the Overbrook Farm dispersal in 2009. She is from the family of grade 1 winners Flanders and Surfside and is scheduled to be bred back to War Front.
