Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
At Stone Farm on Wednesday evening July 10, Arthur Hancock and his wife Staci hosted a tribute to the much-decorated Bluegrass music legend Peter Rowan. Terence Collier writing to the Thoroughbred Daily News about the event said:
“There aren’t many Thoroughbred families to match the depth of the Hancock pedigree… Arthur and son, Arthur Jr, both respected members of the country music community, joined Rowan on stage, with the family patriarch giving an emotional rendition of “Here comes Sunday Silence Again.” While Arthur is rightly honored by having partnered in the breeding and/or racing of three Kentucky Derby winners, he and Staci are proudest of their six grown children. It is very rare to find them all in one place at one time, but on Wednesday evening, they gathered at Stone Farm in Bourbon County with family and friends for a memorable evening of fun and Bluegrass music.”
