Stone Farm: For half of a century.

If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.

We’re trying to raise you a good horse.

We sell only what we raise.

Three-year-old fillies WILL THEN (pictured left) and AMORITA finished first and second respectively in Santa Anita’s Listed China Doll Stakes on March 23. The mile-long race on the turf was a “family” affair of sorts… Winner WILL THEN is a homebred racing for George Strawbridge’s Augustin Stables, and runner-up AMORITA races for Augustin in partnership with her breeder Stone Farm. The fillies were foaled at Stone Farm within a couple of weeks of each other, and both were raised at the farm as well.
This was the second stakes win for WILL THEN, who won the Jimmy Durante S.-G3 at Del Mar in November 2024. She is by War of Will out of the Pulpit mare Remember Then. She has three wins in four starts for trainer Jonathan Thomas.
Also a winner last time out, AMORITA now has won/placed in three of six starts. She is a daughter of Liam’s Map out the Ghostzapper mare Cara Bella and is trained by Richard Mandella.
