Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
Arthur B. Hancock III was the Honor Guest at the Thoroughbred Club of America’s 89th testimonial dinner held at Keeneland on May 2, 2022. The honor has been a tradition since 1932 and is one of the industry’s most significant awards. Hancock was named Honor Guest in 2020, but the outbreak of coronavirus forced the event to be postponed.
Hancock is the fourth member of his family to receive this honor. His grandfather, Arthur B. Hancock Sr., was the 1944 honoree, his father, Arthur B. Hancock Jr., was honored in 1960, and his brother, Seth W. Hancock, received the honor in 2000.
Here’s Ray Paulick’s recap of the evening from the Paulick Report as well as a transcript of Hancock’s speech.
