FULLY SUBSCRIBED posted her second consecutive Graded stakes win in Aqueduct’s 1 1/8-mile Comely S.-G3 on December 7. The 3-year-old filly raced second for six furlongs, began her move in the turn, and then took the lead in the stretch to prevail by four lengths at the wire. She finished in front of Shortleaf Stable’s QUIETSIDE, also a two0time Graded stakes winner this year who like FULLY SUBSCRIBED, has the distinction of having been foaled and raised at Stone Farm

Hancock and Memoir “Dark Horses” Featured in Winter Issue of Keeneland Magazine
Arthur Hancock’s “Dark Horses: A Memoir of Redemption” is prominently featured in an article written by Lenny Shulman on Hancock’s life and family in the recently published winter issue of Keeneland Magazine. The 11-page feature recounts Hancock’s upbringing, his time at Vanderbilt University, his battles with alcoholism, and his break with the family farm. In addition, the piece acknowledges Hancock’s reamrkable success in the Thoroughbred industry and his passion and talent as a musician.
TRULY QUALITY Now a Two-Time Winner of the Hollywood Turf Cup-G2
TRULY QUALITY proved himself the best with with a “black friday” win in the Hollywood Turf Cup-G2 at Del Mar on Nov. 28. A homebred racing for George Strawbridge’s Augustin Stable, the five-year-old gelding by Quality Road now has victories back-to-back runnings of the 1 1/2-mile feature. In this year’s rendition, TRULY QUALITY settled toward the back of the pack early on, came to the outside to draw closer, then began his run in earnest into the turn. He took the lead with an eighth of a mile to go, then drew clear for a 1 3/4-length win.
