Anderson Stables’ LADY KATE won the $100,000 Groupie Doll Stakes going a mile on the dirt at Ellis Park on August 9.  After leading from the start, LADY KATE had a head in front after six furlongs and then took command in stretch to win by 4 3/4 lengths.  Consigned by Stone Farm to the 2017 Keeneland September Yearling sale, LADY KATE was purchased at that sale by her owner for $485,000. A daughter of Bernardini out of the Street Cry mare Princess Haya, LADY KATE has won four races from six starts to date this year.
