DONEGAL MOMENTUM turned in a brilliant performance in his racing debut going six furlongs at “Belmont at the Big A.”  The clear favorite in the field of ten, the 3-year-old son of Uncle Mo raced second down the back side, took the lead coming out of the turn, then pulled away to win by an impressive 8 1/4 lengths. Designated as racing’s latest “TDN Rising Star” thanks that May 16 performance,  DONEGAL MOMENTUM  was purchased by owners Donegal Racing for $375,000 at the 2022 Keeneland September Sale.  The colt was bred by Speedway Racing was foaled, raised and sold by Stone Farm and is out of the Malibu Moon mare Moon Dash.
