Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
When WEST HOLLYWOOD won the 1 1/16-mile Saranac Stakes on Aug. 30 at Saratoga, he became the 200th Stakes Winner to have been raised in pastures at Stone Farm. The 3-year-old son of Uncle Mo is out of the Galileo mare White Hot (IRE) and was bred by Bobby Flay’s B. Flay Thoroughbreds. The colt races for Qatar Racing and is trained by Brad Cox. He has three wins and a second in his five starts to date.
The phrase “We’re trying to raise you a good horse” has long been the Stone Farm credo. In addition to the quantity of stakes winners, there is also a tradition of quality. Horses raised at Stone Farm have won many of racing’s most prestigious events, including the Kentucky Oaks, the Breeders’ Cup Classic, all three Triple Crown races.
