Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
Heart felt congratulations to Stone Farm client John Ed Anthony and best of racing luck to Stone Farm-raised BUBBLE ROCK!
John Ed Anthony won his first race at Oaklawn Park in 1972 and fifty years later he’s still winning races, lots of races. Under the name Loblolly Stable, he campaigned champions Prairie Bayou, Temperence Hill, and Vanlandingham. This past February, under the name Shortleaf Stable, Anthony won his 270th race at Oaklawn Park – the most for any owner, and at the start of the week his Shortleaf Stables was leading the rankings by both earnings and wins at the Arkansas track.
This Saturday, Anthony’s homebred BUBBLE ROCK will take on rivals in the Grade 2 Fantasy S. BUBBLE ROCK was foaled and raised at Stone Farm, and we’ll be watching to cheer her on…
