Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
TENMA took Del Mar’s top divisional race for 2-year-old fillies coming from off the pace to win the Del Mar Debutante-G1 on Sept. 7. A 2-year-old daughter of Nyquist, TENMA raced fifth of seven down the backside. As they headed into the turn, TENMA moved up along the rail, was shuffled back briefly, then, when asked, eased around horses and ran down the leader to win by a determined nose.
Raised at Stone Farm and bred in the name of Bobby Flay’s B Flay Thoroughbreds, TENMA is out of the Tapit mare Amaganset. She was purchased by her owners, Baoma Corp, for $850,000 at OBS April sale. The filly now has two wins in two starts.
