Fusaichi Pegasus

Bred by Stone Farm in partnership with Stonerside, Fusaichi Pegasus was raised at Stone Farm and was sold by the farm as a yearling for $4 million. Raced by Fusao Sekiguchi, the colt put together a five-race winning streak the spring of his 3-year-old season that culminated with a victory in the Kentucky Derby-G1. He won six races and placed twice from nine starts. His victories included the Jerome H.-G2, Wood Memorial-G2, and San Felipe S.-G2. Runner-up in the Preakness S.-G1, he retired with earnings of $1.9 million. As a stallion he has been represented by more than 70 blacktype winners, including ten millionaires.
