A son of top sire War Front, Air Force Blue was bred, raised, and sold by Stone Farm. Purchased at the 2014 Keeneland September Sale for $490,000, he won the Dubai Dewhurst S.-G1, the Vincent O’Brien National S.-G1, and the Keeneland Phoenix S.-G1. Named Champion 2-Year-Old in Europe, Air Force Blue has the distinction of being the highest weighted 2YO ever trained by Aidan O’Brien, and Timeform rated him "the best champion of his age group in Europe for nearly 20 years with the exception of Frankel." He currently stands at Ashford Stud.
