In May of 2018, Vessel found a new job at the North American Racing Academy (https://bluegrass.kctcs.edu/about/nara/index.aspx). Vessel has and continues to be a key player in the BCTC / NARA Program. He has a demeanor that teaches the students how to handle a heavier racehorse, yet is intelligent enough to keep the students safe (even when he makes them work for his approval). We have been fortunate enough to have a slew of horses with different character traits. This allows the students to become accustomed to handling a variety of horses. Vessel’s character is one that every student will remember as he teaches each and every one of them how to earn the respect of a strong Thoroughbred.
