Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
Stone Farm’s Extravaganza, away alertly but unhurried early, launched a belated bid outside rivals in the final furlong and was up to win Sunday’s $53,000 allowance spring over a Stall-Wilson Turf Course rated soft by 1 1/4-lengths.
Sunday’s grass sprint was designed as a prep for the upcoming $75,000 Happy Ticket Stakes for older fillies and mares on March 16.
Extravaganza, trained by Mike Stidham and ridden by Richard Eramia, returned mutuels of $15, $4.80 and $3.80, accomplished the about five and a half furlongs in 1:04.90 and increased her career earnings to $132,600 with her fourth win in 11 lifetime starts.
