Stone Farm: For half of a century.

If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.

We’re trying to raise you a good horse.

We sell only what we raise.

The racing success of owner John Ed Anthony was featured in the Paulick Report this week. The profile touches on Fantasy S.-G2 winner and Kentucky Oaks-G1 bound QUIETSIDE, but also chronicles Anthony’s 50-plus year career as a Thoroughbred owner.
The recent victory of QUIETSIDE marked a record-setting 40 stakes win for Anthony at Oaklawn Park. He won his first race at the Arkansas track in 1972, and his first stakes win came when Cox’s Ridge won the Razorback H.-G3 in 1978. A long-time client of Stone Farm (where QUIETSIDE was foaled and raised), Anthony raced Eclipse Award winners Temperence Hill, Vanlandingham, and Prairie Bayou.
