Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
This year’s Dubai World Cup day was dominated by Japanese horses who won five races and placed in several others. A large part of that success was due to the influence of Stone Farm’s SUNDAY SILENCE. The Kentucky-bred and 1989 Horse of the Year appeared in the pedigree of FOUR of the five Japanese-breds, including UAE Derby winner CROWN PRIDE, a great grandson of SUNDAY SILENCE.
Winner of the Kentucky Derby-G1, Preakness S.-G1, and Breeders’ Cup Classic-G1 during his championship season, SUNDAY SILENCE was raised, sold and raced by Stone Farm and was a product of Stone Farm stallion two-time leading sire HALO. Sold to Japan for stud duty at the end of his illustrious career, SUNDAY SILENCE became the greatest sire in the history of Japanese breeding.
