Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
PLUM ALI, bred, raised and sold by Stone Farm, turned in an outstanding performance to win the $150,000 Winter Memories Stakes on November 14 at Aqueduct. Ridden by Manny Franco, PLUM ALI took the lead from the start and maintained command to win by a comfortable three-quarters of a length for trainer Christophe Clement.
A daughter of First Samurai out of Stroll mare Skipping, Plum Ali races for Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables, and Michael Caruso. She was purchased by Cromwell Bloodstock from the 2019 Stone Farm Keeneland September yearling consignment.
Last year as a 2-year-old, PLUM ALI broke her maiden in her debut at Saratoga, won the Mint Juvenile Fillies S. at Kentucky Downs, then earned graded stakes status winning the G2 Miss Grillo Stakes in her first three starts. She has now earned $676,000 with four wins and two placings in 11 starts.
