The Kentucky Derby edition of WUKY’s award-winning history series Saving Stories. Doug Boyd, director of the UK Libraries’ Nunn Center for Oral History, shared the audio from an entertaining interview with Stone Farm’s Arthur Hancock recounting events surroudning Gato Del Sol’s 1982 Kentucky Derby victory.
The inteview is part of an ongoing project called “Life’s Work” which documents the stories of equine industry professionals.
