Stone Farm: For half of a century.
If you take care of the land,
the land will take care of you.
We’re trying to raise you a good horse.
We sell only what we raise.
Stone Farm bred, raised, and sold PLUM ALI earned her first blacktype going a mile on the turf in the Mint Juvenile Fillies S. at Kentucky Downs on Sept. 7. Bothered at the start when she hit the gate, the 2-year-old filly was undeterred. She raced off the pace, then drove past the leaders in the stretch and drew clear to win by 2 3/4 lengths.
Trained by Christophe Clement, PLUM ALI broke her maiden in her debut, going 1 1/16 miles on the turf in a Saratoga maiden special. She was purchased by Cromwell Bloodstock from the Stone Farm consignment as at yearling at last year’s Keeneland September Sale. A daughter of First Samurai out of the mare Skipping, PLUM ALI races for Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables, and Bethlehem Stables. She is now undefeated in two starts.
