Stone Farm Bred & Sold GROWTH EQUITY Wins the G3 Peter Pan Stakes

Klaravich Stable’s GROWTH EQUITY was a heavy favorite in a Maiden Special Weight at Aqueduct in March and rolled home with impressive  4 1/4- victory.  Making the jump to stakes company last Saturday in the $200,000 Peter Pan S.-G3, the 3-year-old colt proved his connections were correction in their assessment by winning the 1 1/18-mile feature by a comfortable two lengths.  After tracking the leaders into the far turn, GROWTH EQUITY was asked to run as they neared the quarter pole, and he went wide to make his bid.  Under mild urging, he took the lead at the head of the stretch and then drew clear from his rivals for his first graded stakes win.
