Champion and Stone Farm Graduate Air Force Blue was represented by his first winner on June 7 when 2YO Beauty Queen won her debut by 1 3/4-lengths at Gulfstream Park. The filly was the first starter for her sire.
Bred, foaled, and raised at Stone Farm, Air Force Blue is a son of War Front out of the stakes-placed Maria’s Mon mare Chatham. Consigned by Stone Farm to the 2014 September Yearling Sale, he was sold by the farm for $490,000. Air Force Blue won the Vincent O’Brien S.-G1 and Keeneland Phoenix S.-G1 in Ireland and the Dubai Dewhurst S.-G1 in England. Named Champion 2YO in Europe, Air Force Blue was trained by Aidan O’Brien and raced for Coolmore.
